Good characterization. Enjoyed the story. Recommend.
This book was interesting . I liked the way she finally found someone who treated her right and gave her the love she deserved.
I read the book and wasn't to fond of the book. I stopped where it got to Washington and thought I wouldn't finish it. I was bored and started reading it again and really liked it.
I enjoyed the twist and turns of this book. I had to finish it the day I started to read it! I was totally captured by the plot and story line. Every time I had the direction of the book figured out, there as a curve! Anyone that enjoys reading about the Amish should definitely read this book!
Well developed story of wife abuse, a pregnancy unwanted by the husband with a gambling and alcohol habit. A father's verbal abuse also assailed her. One problem after another assail her. Her future changes.
This was a disappointment to me. The Amish don't use curse words, they don't use God' name or Jesus when upset about something. I read Amish books because of the clean and sweet way they think and talk and was so surprised that this wasn't one of those books.
I really liked this book .it's full of mystery and I couldn't put it down .I would have Gabe it 5 stars but I don't like how some of the words in this book. I Expect Amish books to be free of all cussing . That was only thing I wish you would change like when u use Jesus name they way u did seem kinda blasphemy.
